-------------fly it who wants to so what does the opposition gain??? ----For many years past, only Southern "red-necks" have flown the Stars and Bars from their pick-up trucks, their cross-country tractor-trailers and from their front yards except when it was flown as an historical symbol of what took place in this nation a hundred and forty years ago. ----Now there has been a surge of "political correctness" that is aimed at removing the emblem from all the places where it was only historical. This ill conceived surge of emotion by that bunch of self styled do-gooders that gathers and questions each other, "What can we do today to stir up the pot???" will only cause more people in all stratas of society to demand the right to display the Stars and Bars as an expression of the rights of citizens to not be controlled by a minority of narrow-minded people without the sense to involve themselves in matters of importance all around us that need their attention. ----I predict that the flying of the Stars and Bars will soon be "the thing to do" by men and women, all over the nation, that are fighting against the encroachment of their rights and the unconstitutional-the violations of the First Ammendment at the very least--actions of a few and the political hacks that follow them. ===== Harry S.
