Sorry for the delay in answering you about the availability of the Izard County book. I have been trying to get in touch with Ms. Stowers and so far have been unable to. When I find out more, I will let you know. Ellie and others who have asked about "The History and Families of Izard County, Arkansas." It is still available!!!! It sells for $59.95 plus $6.00 mailing fee. Mail check to Izard County History Book, P.O. Box 306, Pineville, AR 72566. There is also a School History Book which sells for $30.00 plus $6.00 mailing fee to the same address in this message. I have a copy of the History book and it is very good. The information included in the book was written by family members of the families mentioned in the book.
