The information I have on George Roberson/Robinson/Robertson is that he was from Clay County, Missouri. He went to Kentucky with Quantrill and was surrounded by a Major Bridgewater (Union) in Jessamine County, Kentucky. He was charged with killing a Federal officer in Hustonville. He was taken to the prison in louisville, escaped and was recaptured. He was eventually executed in April of 1865 for the killing, although, he was innocent of the charges. Another one of Quantrill's men was also arrested for the killing. Allen Parmer supposedly killed the Federal officer.
