Doniphan is in Ripley County, MO. Ripley County was the mother county of several others in the area when they were split off from her in 1845-46. Saw the town "Grandby".. Brought back memories. My uncle was the mailcarrier for Grandby for 40 years.. I use to ride with him (everyday for almost 6 months) when I was just a child and have riden on those mail sacks in the back of his truck, many a time. Thanks for the memory! Lanita
