The scout or his troop is not responsible for the expense of the project. they just do the work. Recently a scout group built some accessible paths for a school for the physically challange, The scouts brought tools, supplies and di the labor. Five years ago my son restored a cemetery in IL for his Eagle project. One of the things he did was visit a couple of local golf courses and asked them to donate grass seed and chemicals needed for the grass. Each course donated several bags of the dry chemicals and seed. When he wrote up his report for the Eagle board he mentioned both of them. Each were happy to donate the supplies. Scouts are always looking for good Eagle projects and allot of companies will donate the money for this good cause. Get your local scout troop involved. Regards and good luck. Fred McCormack
