    3. Dad looked at my outline for cleaning up old cemetaries and he added the following: 1. Take bee sting antecdote. 2..Don't take small kids and those who have to be watched. 3. Make sure you know the emergency call number for that county. 4. Cleanup crews with non-retired people in them usually go on Saturday and documentary crews who are often retired go during the week. Documentary crews also go on holidays like president's day. If you take school students, they sometimes prefer to go on holidays. If you can get volunteers at senior centers they will go early in the morning when it is cool but often you need to transport them. 5. After you have your data completed for your database talk, to area residents and try to find out more information about each subject buried in the site. Remember: The time is running out. See if a local newspaper will cover your findings for posterity's sake 6. Find family members of interred folks and get them interested for caring for the sight. Get additional history from them. Time is running out. Seek their financial support if they are fiscally able to assist., Thanks Becky ----- Original Message ----- From: Kathleen O'Brien-Blair To: MO-CEMETERIES-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Thursday, February 08, 2001 10:47 PM Subject: Re: [MO-CEM] Cemeteries disrepair Good idea NOrma. 3. Another thought: Drug labs and Marajuana fields abound in the Ozarks. Check with the county sheriff before you start out just to be safe. ----- Original Message ----- From: Becky Quinn To: MO-CEMETERIES-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Thursday, February 08, 2001 11:56 PM Subject: Re: [MO-CEM] Cemeteries disrepair Dad looked at my outline for cleaning up old cemetaries and he added the following: 1.
