He stated that he would love to see the old cem. cleaned up. But the cem. doesn't belong to the church. He stated that he thought that it was on private property. He said the cem. was 10 ft. on the other side of the church's boundry line. He said that he hadn't heard any stories about the cem. He thinks that it is an old family cem. and he also thinks that there is only about 2 or 3 graves there. He said that he has been in there and that it needs cleaned up bad. He gave me a name of an elderly lady from his church that has lived in Ritchey all her life and said to call her because she could probably tell me the name of the cem. and maybe even know of some of the people buried there. Her line was busy so I'm gonna try her later. I bet it is an old family cem. usually the way that they name them is to find the oldest stone and whatever the name is like John Doe then it would be the Doe family cem. but maybe I can find obits. on the people buried there then we'll know the name of it.
