I was asking a distant cousin about our family cemetery ,about a mile from Portageville{razed in the 1970s}to see if she could remember any more burials there,and also if she knew any thing about a single grave nearby ,she said there were 2 graves near by that were fenced,and thought the names were Banty.she doesn`t know if they are still there,but Idoubt it,someone on this list recently told me there was a grave about 1000 ft from where our cemetery had been.Ididn`t seethisone in the New Madrid list of old cemeteries.does anyone know anything about this?I have seen the name Banta being searched,could that be the name? __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
