Greetings Members In regards to taking down our countrys flag and folding it for the night. I was so pleased to read where our country has not forgotten it's values. I for one tip my hat to you for teaching our youg to value the American way of life. I am a retired Air force member and was Viet Namn, Laos,Cambodia and Thailand. Being with the Special forces and the Air Commandos,I have seen what our boys gave their lives for so that you could pay respects to the flag. May the Good Lord bless all of you and say a prayer the next time you see a Vet and let him ( or her ) know that you are Thanking him for what he has given for YOUR freedom. Harold glad to hear your input,my family has down there share from the Civil War ,Span-Am-War,Vietnam ,Korea, Japan or World War I,Germany or World War II ,so I know just what you are saying .Most of my Family returned from there War's either enjured or not . Hi Harold, In our country where the rodeos roam, the first thing our kids are taught, when that flag goes by, off comes the hats and the heart is covered. Little ones at three years or less. Standing at attention when they ride the flag by.
