Hi, Those you search for may well have tombstones as many cemeteries, probably most cemeteries, do not have the names recorded by anyone. Also some listings are quite old. I listed a cemetery which had 1600 names, a listing done in 1930s listed less than 200 names. There are many small family cemeteries lost in the passage of time. When the road that passes by a cemetery is abandoned, the cemetery usually goes down rapidly. I would suggest you go to the Historical Society in the county and look in the old atlases for the names you mentioned. If you find where they lived, they may well have been buried on their land.
