I received the following note this past Monday and thought it might be of benefit on HOW NOT TO request help. ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Subject: RXXXXXXX & their connections "In reading through old MO XXXX Digests, I notice that you have RXXXXXX & connections. Can you send me what you have? Thanks" ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Your will note, I have Xed out the family surname. This note had no Salutation and no Signature, No offer to exchange data, No clue as to how he/she might fit within the family. I am sure, whoever this person is, will be taken aback since I didn't send any information on the 92 individuals, their spouses, children and grandchildren, I would estimate that I have information on some 150 members of this particular family surname going back to 1754 (this isn't a main branch of my family).
