    3. Marie, No, I do not have any photos of any kind. Yes, I was a small boy, under ten years of age. I was apparently incorrect in my thought that you were looking for the Buchanan County Farm. Another correspondent pointed out that you are probably looking for the Andrew County Farm, located a few miles to the North. Good Luck. Lee L. "Marie K. 3. Lee, You certainly weren't incorrect and I'm so glad you mentioned the Buchanan County Farm because it is just as a strong possibility my gr.grandfather might have been there. I only mentioned the Andrew County Farm because it is the only one I have ever heard about. My gr.grandfather had lived in three counties that I knew of, Buchanan, Andrew and DeKalb - there might have been others. His ancestors I know of are all buried in Buchanan County. In fact, Buchanan has been the county I suspect he is buried in. I'm happy to have two county farms to investigate. Thanks for writing again. 3. Lee, My grt.grandfather's name was Albert Register (possibly known as John as they might have been his middle name), born 1855 in MO (probably one of the three counties I mentioned). His relatives are buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery also known as the Register Cemetery. Do you know this cemetery? One young lady emailed me who is the person informing me that Pleasant Hill was known as Register. I don't know the location. I wonder if the County had special burial sections for the County Farm inmates. Marie Lee Lamar wrote: > Marie, I am glad I was of some help. What is your gr. grandfathers > name?
