Hi LSmith, There is another explanation for missing a stone reappearing. When my friend Wayne and I go to record cemeteries we often take a probe to locate buried stones. Recently we visited one of his family's almost lost cemeteries and he wanted to find his great great grandmother's stone. After an hour of probing he discovered it 3-4 inches below the surface and uncovered it. Several months later one of his relatives visited the cemetery and was amazed to discover a stone he had not seen before. He came excitedly to Wayne saying what he had found. Wayne smiled back. Sometimes only grass will barely cover the stone or it can be in a slight depression with leaves on top. So when one pulls the grass back or removes the leaves you have a ancestor back. Maybe someone did that to you. Paul **************It's Tax Time! Get tips, forms and advice on AOL Money & Finance. (http://money.aol.com/tax?NCID=aolcmp00300000002850)
