It's a good base system, but people have trouble making sense out of it in their heads. I get the azimuth and distance information and other things people like to see from the lat/longs. Mike

    3. Mike and Paul; Missouri Historical manuscripts is a better place Western Historical manuscript, east end of Library UM=Columbia. Not that the others are not great sources, just the various manuscript storage is better in my opinion. Not as well used as the others, basically because non academician are reluctant to use, but really great archival and technical centers. There are at least four, Columbia , Rolla and K.C. and I think St Louis and each knows of the others collections and resources bud.
