Hi, In location cemeteries in Mid-Mo I use latitude and longitude in degrees, minutes and seconds. one second describes a piece of real estate about 100 ft N-S and 60 ft E-W. If you really want to get confused, describe the location such as NW1/4 of NW1/4 of NE1/4 of SE 1/4 Section 36 T65N R27W. That gives a square 330 ft on a side. If you use a GPS and think it accurate to a fly's eye blinker, try this experiment with it. Take a piece of caulk and walk down a sidewalk north or south. When the second changes on the GPS mark the number on the walk. Walk until you have made several second numbers. Then turn around and walk back and see if the number changes at the same spot. Good Luck. If you consider the decimal degrees reading in this experiment, it really get interesting. Have fun. Paul **************It's Tax Time! Get tips, forms and advice on AOL Money & Finance.
