Please be advised Meralou Petty passed away on October 22, 2007. To see the obituary go to the Gaither web page
Hi Meralou, I am trying to find where my Great-Grandfather, Thomas (Tommy) Robbins/Robins was buried. I know that he was born about 1842, believed to have been in Missouri, and lived with the Wilburn Robbins family most of his life in Miller County, Missouri. He is listed in the 1850 Miller County census as Thomas N. Henderson but have found nothing as to who his parents are if he was a Henderson and not a Robbins/Robins. I did find out that his widow, Martha Robins, was buried in the Baptist Cemetery in Birch Tree, Shannon County, MO in about the 1920s to 1930s. I have found Thomas also listed as T. N. Robbins/Robins. Can you please help me find out where he is buried at? Anna; since Miralou can't answer you. I will suggest, go to Missouri death certificates and try Thomas' name under both Robins/Robbins, and Henderson with a county search for each place you feel he might have been. Do a name search, any county. As you enlarge each, check birth date ,informant, and parents. To do print out change 2pages to one, you don't need but one copy of the explanation of the form(p.2)
