History Commission show he was killed in action 10-15-1864 near Big Blue River, MO. During General Sterling Price's scond Invasion of MO. If anyone can tell me where he is buried I will be greatfull.     3. This is a Civil War battlefield death, Right? Would he have not been buried where fallen? Big Blue River would be in Jackson Co. Mo. Write Missouri State Archives, JeffersonCity MO.
