I had my grandfather figured as illigitimate ( Only parents have illigitimate activities not children) and was fine with it. However it was because I wrote the little towne that I found my G grandmother was indeed married to my G grandfather but the lack of 1890 census messed it all up. Genealogy is always interesting. By writing I also received pictures of half cousins I never knew I had. Always a bizarre and fun hobby!
