    3. Hello everyone, I am new to the list and looking for leads as follows. I know there was a McDonald "homestead" in the Grey Summit area. I have death certificates for Margaret McDonald Root 1818-1891 who died in St Louis but was buried in "a" Grey Summit Cemetery. m. David Vinton Root 1806-1877?? abt 1846? I have a death certificate for her son-in-law Edgar Wingard McDonald 1853-1899 who died in St Louis but is buried in "a" Grey Summit cemetery. Edgar McDonald was married to Vintie Root abt 1849-1907 (a cousin.) Vintie died on vacation and is buried in Cleveland Ohio. They had 7 children some who died as infants and are thought to be buried in the Grey Summit area also. Nellie 1873-77 Edgar? "TOTO" 1874/75 David 1876-78 Vintie was first married to a Lutz and their son E. Paul and his wife Isabel are buried in Franklin Co. Do any of these names sound familiar? What are the names of the cemeteries in/around Grey Summit. Any assistance in pointing me in the right direction was be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you in advance. Barbara Campbell
