    3. People in Cline's Island would most likely be buried in Walker Cemetery, Stoddard County, MO or in Bloomfield. There is the possibility that they could have also been buried in Dexter or in Sikeston which is Scott Co., MO Regards, Margaret Cline Harmon -----Original Message----- From: OPEIHUM@aol.com [mailto:OPEIHUM@aol.com] Sent: Saturday, January 27, 2001 5:48 PM To: MO-CEMETERIES-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [MO-CEM] Re: MO-CEMETERIES-D Digest V01 #9 Clines Island is west of Sikeston in Stoddard county. It had two settlements when I was a young boy, 1, The store called Clines Island on the northwest end of the island where the river split, and 2, Birds Corner on the east side of the island. I think that today county roads "Y" and "AB" run along the northeast side and CR 581 on the southwest side. The island is about 2 miles long. I went hunting there as a boy but do not remember seeing any cemeteries. Regards, Curt Johnson Bartlesville, OK ______________________________
