I felt that way when I couldn't find my elusive grandfather. He just didn't exist accourding to wherever I searched. He wasn't so neither was my mother nor could I be today!!!! Couldn't get replies from his surname family In Mo. then I found this site and found where he was buried. Try www.findagrave.com It is a little quirkey the way it takes your info, just stick with it to the end It may help, can't hurt.
