Bonnie My g grandfather's name was William J. Marriott (Merriott) b. 1844 KY d. 1892 Morgan, MO. Two children died in 1892 also - Willie/A. F. b. 1880; and Jinnie/Jenny L. b. 1881 I think all three died from Typhoid Fever. In the 1880 census (the only one I have found for them) it is from Monreau Township, Morgan, MO. The spelling of Marriott depends on the literacy of the person doing the writing, telling or transcribing. My g grandmother Matilda Jane moved to Tulsa OK by 1900 as I have a census for her here. G grandma said they lived on a farm at Versailles. They were married in Morgan County MO in 1874. It would be some kind of miracle if you could find anything for me.
