Do you have an Obediah Merritt in your cemetery records? Am also looking for Sarah Merritt or any Merritt family members in Moniteau County or possible Cole County. I have some records from Cole and don't have them in my records. Obediah Merritt died about 1853-1855. His children where Missouri Merritt, Davis or Daris Merritt and Calvery Merritt. They are listed in his probate records and became wards of his brother Pellington Merritt who is buried in Hopewell Cemetery in Morgan County. Thanks so much. Bonnie Morris Conrad
