Then you can ask for an obituary lookup to a group of volunteers around the country who have access to paid sites that help. To do this go to OBIT-LOOKUPS-L@Rootsweb.com<mailto:OBIT-LOOKUPS-L@Rootsweb.com>. Then type in the Subject area of the email the state, county and city you need help with. In your message you need as much information of the death as possible. Full name, date of death, where they died, living relatives at the time especially a spouse. You will get a lot of emails from everyone who subscribes to this list and their requests and answers. It may take awhile for someone to get back to you but as soon as they! do, thank them and then to stop getting the emails just go to the OBIT-LOOKUPS-request@rootsweb.com<mailto:OBIT-LOOKUPS-request@rootsweb.com<mailto:OBIT-LOOKUPS-request@rootsweb.com<mailto:OBIT-LOOKUPS-request@rootsweb.com>> again and type the word Unsubscribe in the Subject area of the email.
