    1. Re: Need Cemetery Look Up - St. Louis, MO - Dayton TURNER
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/AN.2ADE/611.1 Message Board Post: Jimmie I'm not from Missouri, but you may find some help at this site. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mocemete/st-louis/stlouis.html Do you see the note above: Missouri Cemeteries Messages posted to this board also appear in the "[email protected]" mailing list. That is a website ran by Ann Bush and List Moderator Kathleen Burnett. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mocemete/mocem.htm When someone posts a query here as you have, the query appears there and answers may appear on the message list, but not here. When someone answers here, it also appears on the list. You can join the list if you like, access the List Archives or both. http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/MO-CEMETERIES This is your thread, my answer and others to this query have and will appear here. Do remember to remind Jackie, if she hasn't gotten back to you. It's her suggestion. http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/read/MO-CEMETERIES/2005-07/1121742486 Then Bill answered a bit off the thread, but with some good advice. http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/read/MO-CEMETERIES/2005-07/1121814298 The lack of actual dates may make that difficult, I believe. It would also depend on the clerk who gets the request. Something like this may have been in newspapers, but without a closer date, newspaper archives could be difficult, as could trying to find the police department covering the area. Was the murder solved or unsolved? http://www.co.st-louis.mo.us/ You are pretty specific in that it happened in Missouri. Is it possible it happened in (East) Saint Louis, Illinois? I ask because it's not unusual for someone to need information from Kansas City Kansas, yet they ask for it from Kansas City Missouri. Any twin cities across State lines from each other seem to have the same identity problems. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Here's the http://www.findagrave.com/ (FAG) Listing http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=csr&CScnty=1492 I hope this helps.
