    3. Yes, I'm pretty sure they are the same cemetery. There used to be a Hickory Grove School located 420 ft SSE of the cemetery. Author: JulianaMulroy Surnames: Kerr, Ayres, Miller, Hazlett Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/topics.cemetery.us.mo/1816/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I'm looking for information about my gggrandfather, William Kerr, born Londonderry Co, Ireland, ca. 1820, resided Barry, Pike Co., IL, got sick, died and was buried in Hunnewell in late November, 1883 while visiting a son (Oliver L. Kerr?, wife Mariah Ayres)). Unfortunately Shelby Co. began keeping death records in 1884, so my next hopes are cemetery and church information (also mortuary and newspaper notices). Is there anyone near Hunnewell willing to help me out? I would really like his birthdate and parents' names. I think his mother's name was Miller and he had a cousin named Sam Hazlett in Philadephia. William Kerr was 2 generations removed from Scotland and I assume was Presbyterian. His relatives in Barry are buried in the general town cemetery. His son Oliver did not live in Hunnewell very long. There may be other family members (Oliver's children?) buried there. Thanks in advance for any help.
