Family lore has my g.grandfather Ephraim Moss b. 1861 in Green CO, TN d. between 1894-1899 and is buried at Canalou Cemetery. As best as I can locate Canalou, Mo it is in New Madrid Co, where county roads H and E intersect maybe 8 miles west of US 61. It looks to be in New Madrid CO, but could also be in Stoddard CO. I have a list of hundreds of names in a unmarked potter's there. Or if their death certificate states burial place as "Leeds" or "Municipal". I can tell you exactly where to find this cemetery. Yesterday on the MO Death Certificate site I found my g.uncle Theodore Moss and it lists Mt. Zion in Steele as his burial site. I was hoping to find other Moss family there also.
