    2. Richard Posz
    3. Sherri, There is a Leesville in Henry Co., as well as a Good Hope and Tebo Church and Cemetery. There was also an Old Tebo cemetery that has been moved, most likely to make the Truman Reservoir in the 1970's. These would all be in Leesville Township, Henry Co. Missouri. Leesville is on Hiway PP north of Tightwad, Missouri which is on Hiway 7 between Warsaw and Clinton. Henry County has an excellent Genweb page at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~mohenry/henryco.html I did not find a grave listed for John Brubaker, but perhaps if you post on the above website, someone will have more help for you. The Henry County Museum has an wide collection of Henry County records so they would more than likely be able to help. Good luck Barb Posz

    3. Beth; I saw your message on the Newton County, Missouri Rootsweb list about losing all your stored e-mails. I lost most of mine last Fall, so I know how it feels. I just wanted to tell you you can go here: http://searches2.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl And enter MONEWTON-L and on the next page you can search through all the messages ever posted to the Rootsweb MONEWTON-L by year and keyword. Or enter any other of Rootsweb Mailing lists names. It is a great way to retrieve e-mail addresses or lost information. I also do this with surnames I am researching and have found some valuable information and new contacts this way. Hope this helps. 2. A couple of questions for you kind folks on the list. 1.  Is there a town called Leesville in Henry Co, MO today? 2.  Is there a cemetery called Goodhope in or around Leesville? 3.  Is there a cemetery called Teabow in or around Leesville? 4.  Are there records of burials for the cemeteries listed? Grandfather, John Brubaker died in 1936 and according to different family members he was buried in either Goodhope or Teabow cemetery.  They also think that the "Tennessee Water Project" (is that what it is called?) may have covered the area with water.  If that is the case were the graves moved before the area was flooded? Can anyone help me with any of this? TIA Sherri from California

    2. Bev Harris
    3. The city cemetery of Blue Springs, Jackson Co., MO is named the Blue Springs Cemetery. I am very positive about this statement, since my gg grandmother, Rhoda Effaniah (Burnett) Harris, donated the 1 1/2 acres of land to start this cemetary on what was then their farm. Her last child, Lewis Franklin Harris at age 3 months, 7 days was buried on the sunny slope of the Harris farm in August of 1845. This was the first grave in the beginning of what is now the Blue Springs Cemetery. ----- Original Message ----- From: "deboz" <deboz@iland.net> To: <MO-CEMETERIES-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, February 15, 2001 3:22 PM Subject: Re: [MO-CEM] Looking for Blue Springs cemetery > There is a Blue Springs, Missouri, east of Kansas City. 1. [MO-CEM] Carroll County
    2. Beverly Kelly
    3. I asked this question some time ago but in Jackson Co. (Kansas City?). Since I didn't have any positive results there, someone suggested I try Carrollton, Carroll Co. I am looking for the gravesites of my great-grandparents, James and Mary (Foley) Sullivan. She evidently preceded him in death but I am reasonably sure he died in 1929, some three months prior to June of that year. It makes sense to try Carroll Co. since my Father was born there in 1901, assuming he may have been born at his grandparents.\ Please accept my thanks and gratitude in advance Beverly Kelly
