Each map depicts an area approximately 7 ½ miles by 10 miles in the Missouri region. They are available from various United States Government agencies for $4.00 each. However, it is not necessary to have these maps to find a feature. A county map will usually show the same features. Also any map with coordinates will locate the general area. A GPS (Global Satellite System) will lead you directly to the feature. Please direct any questions, corrections or additions to: Mel Duncan (Duncan153@aol.com)

    3. Hi everyone I am not cleaning either, cemeteries anyway, we just got through cleaning my mothers back yard from all the trees that fell last week. one on the garage on her neighbors house on a trailer in her yard where it split the roof. Trees everywhere in front and back. The city is suppose to come by tomorrow and get all the mess that we cut with chain saws and took to the alley and in front walkway in front. You can not see out her back yard to the alley, because of all have the tree debris, out there. For it to not have been a tornado, amazes me. It blew down our fence and half our trees down also. We have had a mess to clean up this week end. But we thank God our House was not touched and our lives not lost. I sure hope we dont get another dose after while, like they say we might get. 3. I noticed the Allen Cemeteries [2] on your list for Callaway County- these two cemeteries are online at http://www.geocities.com/churchill_9900/cempage.html http://geonames.usgs.gov/pls/gnis/web_query.gnis_web_query_form I use this form and correlate it to county maps, obtainable from the state for 50 cents each. use the state, county and feature pulldown menus. when ou find something you want, click on it, and then to the "Show Feaute Location" and the second map wil give you the approximate location. Not all cemeteries are on the county maps, USGS listings or topo maps. 3. I'm still looking for the graves of Archibald and Nancy Jane KING. According to pension records, Archibald KING died Mar 18, 1923 near Washburn, Barry, Missouri but neither the county nor the state have any record of his death. Has anyone seen their graves? Does anyone have any information on them? Could anyone check the death records directly? Thanks, Mel King
