I'm searching for CHANEY, TAYLOR, MAUPIN, UNDERWOOD, & CROW Sir names in the NW. MO. area an SW. Iowa. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mary (Chaney) Schultz Moscow, Idaho.
I think you are right and I will bring it up in Lincoln County, KS where I have family in small Cemeteries that are not covered by perpetual care. Perhaps each of us should take on an area to try to preserve. In MO I haven't found family yet except in well cared for Cem. but if I do I will work with it. Ginny in Wyoming where tonight is lovely
Am I on the wrong web site? I'm looking for Mo-Cemeteries not the Weather Channel. Now that we know what the weather is doing all over the United States. Can we please get back to what we're suppose to be doing? Fred D.
Annual cleanup and business meeting of the Wilson Cem. in Ripley Co. MO, was successful April 14. Leaves were raked, trees were trimmed, sunken graves were filled, some old disintegrating flower arrangements were removed. Much more needs to be done to get this cemetery really nice. It is maintained by donations only. At the meeting it was noted that each mowing cost $85.00. Last year it was mowed 5 times. At the cleanup it was already in need of mowing. One person made a request that the fence be replaced with a chain link one. That would really be great, but no one could think of where the money would come from. I am sure that is what is happening at all the little country cemeteries. More people that have family and friends buried in them needs to get involved. There are many unmarked graves in this cemetery. Some had been marked only by a field stone and a lot of those have disappeared. B Smith Having a cool night in MO.

Oh Yes Team I do have the FUSSIES and do not want to know about Flowers,Weather, ect I was hoping when I joined this list that it would be about Genealogy !! Not a Hen Party. I'm sure other Males out there are thinking as I do. I have put Genealogy quistions on the Mo-Ceneteries list and no one seemed to care other then asking where everyone was. I have even tried to be helpful and have heped some of you,but it seems that my name is not Suzie,Mary or what ever. Should the Males take their FUSSIES and go to another web site? In East Central Missouri (Crawford County), but I agree with East Texas. We've already seen 90 degrees and it's only April. It was in the mid-70's this morning; then it rained. The sun shone this afternoon and now it's just almost cold again. Gotta love Missouri to live here. I was born in Oregon Co., MO, but I've lived most of my life in Franklin and Crawford counties. LIZ
