    3. How can I find this site?I visited it once,it list cemeteries and the burials, and info and you can place your family members and pictures on it ,leave flowers and messages.etc,I`m not quite sure how it works.Iwent through one churches listing, and then backing out of it Iwas finding more pictures, maybe I went through too fast the first time.when searching for the Portageville cemetery,it didn`t show anything, but it advises you to type in just the first 3 or 4 letters,I tried that and got it.I`m probably the last person on the list to find this site . __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? 1. [MO-CEM] From List Mom - Please Read
    2. Kathleen Burnett
    3. Dear List Members, The MO-Cemeteries list is for the discussion of Missouri Cemeteries, those buried in them, the care of the cemeteries, locating cemeteries, the care of cemeteries, etc. If someone posts a message to the list that should not have been posted, please just delete it. Know that I am taking care of the problem. If you post your unhappiness to the entire list, then you just continue on the problem. I know it is hard when you have been offended by what was written, but for my sake, and the sake of the list, please just delete it. If you feel you need to unsubscribe because of the offending posting, please do this quietly, even though I wish you would not. Sending your remarks to the list and then stating you are unsubscribing because of it is causes the same type of reaction as the posting that caused you to react. I appreciate your help with this and I appreciate the support I continully receive of each of you. Kathleen Burnett List Mom

    3. <LOLOLOL> Sorry, Bill, but I had to laugh as this is typical of some of the requests I get also. However, I think I can "top" it. Last year, at my mother's oldest sister's funeral (she was one of 9 children), the husband of my aunt's dtr. came up to me and said, "I hear you are doing the family history and have lots of information. Here is my card. Send me a copy of everything you have." No, " would you, could you, kiss my elbow" or nothing! I have 4794 individuals, 28, 503 text records and have both maternal lines traced back to William the Conqueror in 1066. I guess the guy is still waiting. First and, I hope, last time I ever see the idiot! But, I'm still laughing! 1. Re: [MO-CEM] Pendelton Cemetary Doe Run, Mo/ Parkview in Farmington
    2. B. Warner
    3. Dick, These cemeteries are located in St. Francois County, where I live. Doe Run is located on "W" Highway out of Farmington. There is a Doe Run/"W" Highway exit off of Highway 67. If you're coming north on 67, it's (I think) the first Farmington exit. If you're coming South, it's the second Farmington exit. The Pendleton Cemetery and the Doe Run Cemetery are located right close to each other. You'll turn left off of "W" when you get to Doe Run. Doe Run is 4 or 5 miles West of Farmington. I'm not sure of the name of the street, but Doe Run's not that big so you'll find it, I'm sure. Parkview is located just north of Farmington, off of Highway 67. It's actually on what is called the Old Highway 67. If you're coming south on 67 it will be on your left just before you get to the Farmington exit. If you're coming North on 67 it will be on your right after you pass Farmington. You'll need to exit off of the present Highway 67 to get over to the old Highway 67. There are several roads that cut across so I'm sure you'll have no problem getting there. Parkview is a very big cemetery so you can't miss seeing it. Probably the best road to take off of Highway 67 is the one next to the Farmington Antique Mall/Flea Market right across from the Farmington Auction Barn. It's the same road that goes to Eagle Lake Country Club. When you turn off of 67 there you'll see a big green sign that says "JESUS". Another landmark to look for is Blackwell Motors' big pink elephant with purple polka-dots wearing sun glasses. Parkview Cemetery sits right behind that dealership. If I can be of further help, just let me know. Or, if you'd like me to take some pictures to save yourself a trip, I'd be happy to do that too. I'd be happy also to check the available lists too to see if who you're looking for is there. 1. [MO-CEM] directions for Pendelton Cemetary Doe Run, Mo/ Parkview in Farmington
    2. Blondee
    3. Directions for Pendelton Cemetery:Take 67 Highway, turn left to W to Hildabreck Road, cemetery on your right.. It is out in the open and well kept. There is a church right by this cemetery, Pendelton United Baptist Church, Doe Run, St.Francois County,MO. Directions for Parkview Cemetery: Take Highway 67 to the turn off for Mineral Area College, turn left and this will take you over the highway and go past the Mineral Area College about 5 miles (this road you are on the old 67 highway),on your left is Parkview Cemetery and if you pass it the Mineral Area Regional Hospital is real close to this location...Parkview does have a black rod iron name over the entrance of the cemetery...I can't remember if they call the old Highway 67 another name ...these directions should get you to both the cemeteries. It has been quite a while since we were at these cemeteries, neither one has someone working to answer your question...have tried to talk to the people about Parkview . Hope this helps someone. 3. It's my understanding that most viruses that come through e-mail have to be opened through an attachement. /The attachement is opened by clicking on the little paper clip icon(on my machine) and then opening the e-mail. It is best to just delete it without doing anything else unless you are getting an answer from someone or it is from someone who has told you that they are sending something. Watch your subject line. It will usually cue you in that it is odd but not always. The best way to open attachemnts and be as safe as one can be is to save them (throught the clip0 to your5 documents and then run a virus scan on them such as McAfee or Norton or Trend check, or another virus program. Make sure you have a virus protection program such as one of these and if it is working properly it usually will tell you when the e-mail program MAY have a virus when you click on the paper clip. >>>>> I hope this is not giberish.
