I was told there is a Meyers Cemetery, 9 miles So of Butler, MO which had the grave of J. A. Queener died 1861. When I was recently there, I could not find a cemetery. I need to know where exactly it is for my Aunt, or if someone knows, are there any other Queener's buried near by, and how big the grave is. We think this is John Madison Queener's grave or his youngest child. He was in the 1860 census in Lone Oak twp, but in 1870 part of the family was in Pleasant Gap twp. Lost 4 males of the family in 10 years. thank you Patsy Queener Heiller

Tuesday, July 26,2005 I would suggest that you would want to check out the map at http://gscm.missouri.org/Maps/Boonecemeteries1.html . It was prepared by The Genealogical Society of Central Missouri and clearly shows a pin for Centralia Cemetery in the Northeast corner of Centralia, Boone County, Missouri. The map is user interactive and offers four selections: street maps, topographic maps, aerial photographs, and listings if they exist. The web site takes you through the home page at http://gscm.missouri.org/ ; but just look for Boone County on the County Maps item on the menu at the top each web page. We are descended from THOMAS CAMPBELL who was born March 17, 1812 in New York. I believe he was born in Sodus, New York. He was married to Mary Ann Babcock on Sept. 22, 1834 in Barre, New York (this is Orleans County). I believe Thomas Campbell's father may have been THOMAS C. CAMPBELL. He was married to ABIGAIL CAMPBELL (NABBY). Nabby's death was Sept. 30, 1824 in Hartford, NY. Thomas C. Campbell and Nabby had three sons: W. O., Thomas (who I think is my Great-great-grandfather), and John D. Campbell. My Great-great-grandfather, Thomas Campbell and his wife, Mary Ann Babcock had six children: Nellie Mae, Mettie Ann, John W., Calvin (my great-grandfather), Frank, and Windsor Otis. My great-grandfather, Calvin Campbell was born Jan. 18, 1844 in Orleans County, NY (could be the town of Sodus). Calvin married Marie Antoinette Eldridge (whose grandfather, weirdly enough, was Duncan Campbell Eldridge of Haddonfield, NJ).
