    3. Try this link. I think the records only go for about a 12-15 years span ending in about 1893. But you never know. And not all counties are represented. http://www.sos.mo.gov/archives/resources/birthdeath/default.asp#birth good luck. Marion also gave me lots of family information. I certainly think this list is a great one. But I would like to know if sks has grave information on the cemetary south of Lutman. On the map Mike sent it is called St. Paul Cemetary. I have no idea which church it is connected to, if any. Looking at Mike's map, the cemetary must be near the town of Bahner which is southeast of Sedalia. Thanks again for the help. Bev

    2. Do you have an Obediah Merritt in your cemetery records? Am also looking for Sarah Merritt or any Merritt family members in Moniteau County or possible Cole County. I have some records from Cole and don't have them in my records. Obediah Merritt died about 1853-1855. His children where Missouri Merritt, Davis or Daris Merritt and Calvery Merritt. They are listed in his probate records and became wards of his brother Pellington Merritt who is buried in Hopewell Cemetery in Morgan County. Thanks so much. Bonnie Morris Conrad

    2. Hi, There are 3 Salem Cemeteries near California, Salem Chapel Cemetery, go east on US 50 to Rte K, then 2 miles south. New Salem Cemetery, go NE on Rte 87 to the Jct with Rte N. Old Salem Cemetery lies 2 miles WSW of New Salem on a county road leading off of Rte 87. Don't know of a Lutman Community, but there is Latham in Moniteau Co. with several cemeteries south of it. I have visited these cemeteries, but did not write down any names. So, next time I am over that way, I'll look. Paul
