As you probably know, the germans changed the spelling of their names many times. They started out Buschman, went to Bushmann, and now spell it Bushman. John H Bushmann b1869 d 1954, & Anna Bushmann b1880 d 1939, were my aunt & uncle.
Does anyone know if the Gatewood Memorial Gardens are named for the GATEWOOD Family? Thanks. Howard Fitzpatrick

This is a long term project with progress being slow during the winter.. it's too cold and gets dark so early. I've completed 5 sections but still have a long way to go to complete it. Do you know what section Barbarie Elender (Odom) Roberts would be buried in? I don't see her name on the previously completed transcription list, but I have found many names that are either mispelled or simply not listed. I'm sure I'll have mistakes too, but if there is question, I'm hoping that having a picture will solve any problems.. and I hope to make any correction and additions neccesary. If there is no stone a person would be listed but I am offering anyone that I will still add their information with a note that there is no stone. Feel free to contact me, Becki

Barr & Edne are buried in a section that I have photographed. Section D lot 57. I am attaching a picture of the tombstones. I am using the previous transcription list as a base to work from, adding corrections and additions as I find them. I have found many mistakes, but I'm sure I have made some mistakes in my work also ... but I'm hoping that by working from photographs of the stones, if there is a question, the picture can be the answer. Maris Barr's stone clearly spells the name Maris not Marie. As far as correcting the original transcription list, I have written e-mails before that go unanswered, so I don't know if they are being received or being lost out there in cyberspace ... but I don't get a mail failure notice. I'm attaching the pictures of the stones that I have... You didn't say what the first names would be on the Buschman stone. If you give me the name, if and when I locate a stone I will try to contact you. I notice the name Buschman isn't on the original transcription list. Do you know if they are buried in the same lot as Barr & Edne? This is a long term project of mine, and it will be very slow progress during the winter. Please feel free to contact me. Becki
