Corder owned two parcels of property in Shamrock (political) Township, Twn49N Rng07W Sec01 SWofNE and NEofNE, for a total of 80 acres. The house on that property was indicated to lie in the NEofNEofSWofNE in that survey township. He was not indicated to have owned the same property in the 1897 Historical Atlas. I checked both Baumgartner&Baynam (1930's) and Ewens&Lawson (1980's) cemetery listings for J. Corder with no success. Based on the current catalog of cemeteries in Callaway County we show no known cemeteries in these two land plots or within one mile. Please refer to current map for Callaway County cemeteries at: http://home.earthlink.net/~kchsoc/callawaycemeteries.html . The Corder land would be in the very extreme NE corner of Callaway County, North of Chapman and East of Todd Cemeteries. This is not to say that it does not exist since myself and another individual have added sixty-seven (! 67) cemeteries to the Callaway County catalog of cemeteries in the last four and a half years. On what authority do you know that he was buried on his own land? Probate records or obituaries? When Jennetta was about 14, the father married Elizabeth Kincaid abt 1838. I haven't found marriage records for either marriages to date. Kincaide may be a previous marriage name. Francis and Elizabeth's oldest son was born 1838, this according to census found. Hannah is a daughter of Francis and Elizabeth.

Thanks for suggestions. At time I sent my message to this list, I also sent copy to Blackwell list and to Jefferson County list, as well as a copy to the Jefferson County web site administrator. Hopefully, I'll hear something from the Administrator soon indicating that she's in the process of getting Jeremiah Blackwell's famiy out of the Masonic Cemetery and back into their private family cemetery. If I don't get a response, and no corrective action is taken, I guess I'll go to State coordinator who is over all the Missouri Gen-Web sites about the situation, but I'll wait awhile in the hopes that situation will be corrected on local level and that will not be necessary. Yes, I can read. I know there is some updating going on, but we're not talking about typos here, and the cemeteries are not simply being moved around, they're being retyped and they've taken two separate listings from two separate cemeteries and consolidated them into one listing and eliminated the other cemetery from the listing. This is the way they've made it "after" their reconstruction. Unless they're put on notice, this is the way they intend it to be. Did you read the message about some of the cemeteries being offline right now and the entire site being under reconstruction? It's posted right on the Jefferson County page as well as the Missouri cemetery site. Anytime a major reconstruction occurs there will be problems to work out.
