Don't know if this is the same Bennetts, but: a JOHN WESLEY BENNETT with his wife, MARY ESTHER, is buried at GARFIELD CEMETERY, Oregon County, MO. John has on his stone: born Oct. 8, 1876 - Sept. 18, 1928 Mary Esther has on her stone: born June 29, 1881 - Aug. 1, 1968. There are a bunch of Bennetts in Oregon County, MO, many buried at Garfield Cem. I am descended from JAMES MADISON BENNETT and OLLIE DAVIS BENNETT from Garfield. James' father was WELCOME K. BENNETT.
