I am just reading this and have a suggestion for you. I am related to the Alexander line in Douglas Co., MO. We have I believe she was my ggg aunt Pheobe or Feba Alexander who marries a Dobbs---I had communicated with her last remaining son (I think he was) living in IL years ago. He had told me a little about her family. But I didn't know that they had lived anywhere except Douglas Co., MO until I discovered Dwight Lane, a list reader at ARIZARD-L@rootsweb.com who is related to the Dobbs family. He had picked up our aunt Pheobe Dobbs in Stone County, AR. It seems to me that Dwight's portion of the family may have lived in Lawrence Co., AR. You may want to go to the ARIZARD list and search the archives for his information and then contact him with you questions if it looks like the information he has posted on that ARIZARD list could be connected to your Dobbs!
