Edwards and his wife, who we believe was Annie Hodges (Anner on census records), my gg grandfather, James B. Edwards and his wife, Mary Elizabeth Lake. They all resided in Walnut Shade, Missouri in Taney County. We, my sisters and I, are trying to find out where they are buried. We are almost 100% certain that Mary Elizabeth Lake Edwards is buried in Walnut Shade, but cannot find cemetary listings. Her dob is Dec 28, 1826 and dod is March 30, 1873. Her husband, James B. was born about 1827. We thought he may have fought on the Union side in the Civil War and died, as we have no death date for him. My ggg Grandfather, Caleb D. Edwards, was born about 1798 and died around 1887. James Weatherman, his son in law, and his daughter Susan took care of him the last few years of his life. His wife, Annie, was born about 1804 and died in Walnut Shade on June 25, 1875. We are hoping to come down that way sometime this year and look for their graves.
