I'm also interested in Meltons. My husband's great grandmother was a Melton on his father's side, and so was his great grandmother on his mother's side. His paternal great grandmother was Martha Jane Melton and on his maternal side, her name was Nicia Amlee Melton. These people lived in northern Arkansas (not far from Taney County!).
