Howdy, folks! Well, somebody, somewhere, did a good "gen deed" and passed the Crunkleton tombstone information on the the right place. There was a Crunkleton family in Boone Co. AR, and Loretta's brother's wife wrote me Sunday. (I'm just now answering my mail--been busy) Loretta was buried in Crawford Cemetery, near Harrison, in Boone Co. AR. The stone--although I think it's in pretty good shape--was replaced some time ago, but no one knew what happened to the old stone. (Ever suspicious, I wonder if the new one was put up because the old one was gone?) Anyway, as soon as I get back the details, the stone will be returned to its rightful place, whether in the cemetery or in the possession of the family. Thanks to all who passed the information on--I'm not quite sure how Mrs. Crunkleton found out about it, she doesn't say--so I don't know where to pinpoint the helper.
