Hey, y'all! This week hasn't been very productive--my sister has been seriously ill and I've spent a great deal of time at the hospital. She is improving, thanks to the many prayers and thoughts sent on her behalf! Don't forget, you Melton researchers--there were 2 families of Meltons, one from TN, one from IN. The ones who intermarried with the Bilyeus, Harps, and Davises were mostly in Taney county in MO, and in northern AR, with some spillover into Christian County, MO (which is where a lot of confusion comes in at). To the best of my knowledge, there isn't any real strong evidence that the 2 families were connected. The bunch I've researched in connection with my Bilyeus and etc, are from IN. Oh, and don't forget the Meadows marriages, either (Allie Melton md Bob Meadows ca 1866). Gots to git! I'm looking forward to a nice evening out with that poor, neglected husband of mine! Vonda
