I hate bothering people because of my ignorance. But I saw your post Jackie and was wondering about the different rolls. My grandmother had a number and of course she has been gone long ago. I did not realize at the time what a mess all of it was at the time. I have been checking the other rolls I have found but family stories dictate Cherokee but also dictate the chickasaw tribe. Could you help me by giving me more insite into how many of these rolls there are and could she be on the Hester roll. No one can seem to find my grandmother's mother;s family so I am thinking she must be the one of the blood line. Her name was Margaret Roberts and her mother's name was Margaret Oliver. I would so appreciate any help in this area. None of the researcher's seem to be able to find this family and the only clue I have is that my grandmothers parents were married in Tennessee after 1860 but before 1880.
