I am certainly not trying to sell something but I attended an Ozark Genealogical Society conference last year and the excellent speaker mentioned that he uses a researcher in Washington DC to get Civil War Pension and Rev War Pension files. He said the man is cheaper and faster than doing it yourself since the National Archives raised their prices. I used his services and found that to be true.
