Dear Pama, PLEASE be assured you are NOT driving any of us nuts with any of the questions you ask as they definitely are NOT silly questions, but if they are then I too fall in the same category as you as I've also wondered which of the LEWALLEN/LIEUALLEN families that Dock comes from. There is a record of marriage 9 Sept 1907 in Taney County for D. M. LEWALLEN and Elsie McGOWN (probably McGowen or McGower). Both Dock & Elsie are buried in Gobblers Knob Cemetery, Taney Co. and the data shown in Janice Looney's Volume 6 shows a joint tombstone that reads: LIEUALLEN, Dock M. 1881-1949 Elsie C. 1887-1977 The only LEWALLEN/LIEUALLEN male born in 1881 that I can find in Taney County records was Henry LEWALLEN b.Dec 1881 who was a son of Robert LEWALLEN and Martha Angeline DAVIS, Martha being a daughter of William DAVIS & Elizabeth HARP. I don't have any further information on Henry as he doesn't seem to show up in any of the Taney County marriage indexes that I have. Some of my LEWALLEN data may have come from you originally, Pama, but I can't recall just who or what the source was since I lost all genealogical notes in my computer when the hard disk crashed early last year. Do you think Dock and Henry could be the same person????? Incidentally, you mentioned in another message about being a little under the weather, Pama, so am hoping you have recovered and are again feeling spunky. I figure that they were related to the Lewallen's here in Taney County. They lived in Hollister in the early 1900's. I guess I am just driving you all nuts asking all these silly questions, but GOSH you have all been to quiet for me. ::smiles:: (I'm am starting to think I am alone here.)
