    3. Jerry, If he was still alive in 1890, then you might try looking at the 1890 enumeration of civil war vets. I found my gggrandfather in it. It has all the info you mentioned. Part of this was destroyed by fire along with the 1890 census, but about half of it was rescued and the saved part seems to include most of Missouri.
