I think my dad, b. 1929, in Joplin, Jasper Co., may know Bill Mapes!!! That would be another weird coincidence in my family! My parents are already 7th and 9th cousins to each other, via Pittsylvania Co. folks. My brother and I are our own cousins, which considering we have no 1st cousins, is rather neat! Thanks again!
