Hi list, I have a request to make of all you great list members. I am getting a TON of messages the last few days, and since I am in Digest Mode, I shouldn't be!! Seems there are a lot of replies but you aren't cleaning up your messages!! One Digest was was 21 K but only ONE message!! I usually get Digests that big with a dozen or more messages. I know you are finding out great things and I am happy for you. But could you please delete most of the message that you are replying to in your reply? Just leave enough to show what you are replying to and delete the rest. I am on a lot of Genealogy lists in Digest Mode, to save me from getting more than one or two E Mails from each list a day. I do not have death dates, do have two sons, Isaac who was married to Elizabeth Morton and William who married Elizabeth Coffee, her mother was Rachel Boone, niece of Daniel Boone. This is very kind of you to offer Jackie. The thing is, I don't know of a connection from GLAZE to the other surnames. I was given a HINT and am trying to find how those surnames connect to my Matilda GLAZE PETTY. I only know that her children were named GLAZE and that she was called PETTY. This line is more than a mystery for us. I do know that there is a Matilda GLAZIER on the GUION MILLER. She was in Mo. There are other GLAZE's also there on the Guion Miller, but none on Dawes. I was wondering if the surname GLAZE was some kind of change from GLASS? Don't know though. There is suppose to be a Cherokee Chief in this line. I will be happy to let you know anything that I might find. I have been told that the GLAZE family has a Cherokee connection thru the surnames, Vann, Gilmore, Martin and Wilson in Mo. and Ar lines. This was confirmed by Chief Running Bear of the Amonsoquath Tribe. His name is Martin Wilson. I have no idea how these names connect with mine, but there is suppose to be one. I am aware of that. I just don't know who Matilda PETTY would connect to. That is why I am out searching for other PETTYs. Thank you for letting me know. I haven't checked the Dawes info yet. My cousin told me the names of all my ggrandmother's siblings, these are the children of Pulaska Jane Nash and John William Brown. Perhaps some may be a family name. Oh, and turns out Pulaska wasn't from Kentucky...my cousin misunderstood her mother.
