REED (Democrat), Representative from Barry County; born at Exeter, Mo., August 21, 1913; educated in the high school at Monett, Mo., Monett Junior College, and University of Missouri School of Law. He was married to Miss KATHELEEN CARNEY, December 28, 1938, at Monett, where he now resides and is engaged in the practice of law. Elected in 1938 to the House of Representatives, he served in the 60th General Assembly as a member of the following committees: Appropriations; Judiciary; Revision; Workmen's Compensation; University; State Library. C.W.REMM (Republican), Representative from Barton County; born February 4, 1875, at Willsbach, State of Wuerttembert, Germany; educated in the public schools of Willsbach and Maienfels, Germany. He left Brettach, Germany in August, 1892, settling in Cissna Park, Iroquois County, Ill., and becoming naturalized in 1900. Moved to Barton County, Mo., in 1902, and started farming the next spring on the farm where he now resides. He married Miss ANNA LEHMAN of Lamar, Mo., March 5, 1903. He is a farmer and stockman and resides at Lamar, Mo., Route No. 4. He was a member of the township board for six years; a member of Barton County Highway Commission from 1929 to1938, and is a member of the Lutheran Church. Was elected to the House of Representatives in 1936, and re-elected in 1938, serving in the 60th General Assembly as a member of the following committees: Roads and Highways; Transportation Other Than Railroads; Fish and Game; Township Organization; Taxation and Revenue; Agriculture.
