MOSIER (Democrat), Representative from Clark County; born January 16, 1888, in Clark County, Missouri; educated in the public schools of Clark County and Van Buren County, Iowa. On February 14, 1914, at Mt. Sterling, Iowa, he married Miss RONDA M. FINDLEY. Is in the real estate and loan business and resides at Kahoka, Mo. Served thirteen and a half months with the United States forces during the World War, being overseas twelve months. Has been active in Democratic politics, serving four years as committeeman from Wyaconda Township of Clark County. Elected to the House of Representatives in 1936, he served in the 59th General Assembly. In the general election in 1938 he was declared defeated, 2,392 to 2,384, by Orvey C. Buck, Republican, who served through the 60th General Assembly as Representative from Clark County. On the closing day of the session, the House adopted a report of the Elections Committee, unseating Buck and declaring Mosier elected by one vote. Norma
