(B.S., 1911), and the University of Missouri (LL.D., 1916). An attorney and farmer, he resides at Charleston, Mo. He married Miss CAROLYN E. SNYDER in Charleston, August 29, 1912, and they have one daughter, ELAINE EVELYN DENNY. Served as Prosecuting Attorney of Mississippi County from 1917 to 1925, and was chairman of the Mississippi County Democratic Central Committee from 1928 to 1932. Elected to the State Senate in 1932 and re-elected in 1936, he served in both the 59th and 60th General Assemblies as chairman of the Committee on Eleemosynary Institutions, and also was a member of the following committees in the 60th General Assembly: Judiciary; Appropriations; Criminal Jurisprudence; Commerce and Manufactories; Wills and Probate Law; Education; Agriculture; Rules and Joint Rules.
